And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matthew 25:40

Our love for God is something we always want to express as His children. We always want to render service to Him, worship and adore Him and much more which is splendid but there is one very simple way to serve and love God that many neglect.
Our opening scripture is quite revealing as regarding this subject. Jesus was letting the people know how God view their acts of service rendered to fellow brethren. God attributed it to Himself. Every act of service done for a fellow brethren in love is regarded as service unto the Lord. We need to see God in one another to be able to express love to each other as we are supposed to. The bible says in 1John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.” For the believer in Jesus Christ, love is expected to come naturally because this is one of the attributes and evidence of our new life.
This love is also not the kind of love expressed by the people of the world. It is agape. Gods unconditional love. And this is why Jesus says “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” John 13:34. Jesus was not saying here that we should be crucified for anyone, He was talking about the unconditional nature of His love that loves regardless of time, personality or circumstances. Jesus was saying if He could love us that much, that even while we were still deep in sin, He died for us,(John15:13) then we need to show this love to one another and He went further in verse 35 to say “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
As you express your love for people, especially those of the Lords house hold, you are expressing your love for the master because Jesus is the Head of the Church and we are His body so expressing love to a member of the body is expressing love to Jesus. This is why when He appeared to Saul on his way to Damascus He said “……Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” Saul was actually persecuting the Church and by so doing Jesus said Saul was also persecuting Him. So likewise, whatever you do to those of Gods house is done unto the Lord. We need to express Godly love for one another as children of a love God. If we truly love God, then we must love our fellow brethren. Have a great day.

SCRIPT REF: Romans 13:8. 1John 3:11, 1John 3:14

CONFESSION:
Dear Lord I thank you for your love towards me. I am an extension of that love to the world and to fellow brethren. I am a love creation as a new creation therefore I live out who I am. Amen.
